Day 1 :

Authentic Villages & Ocean Dunes: Taghazout to Tamri Day Trip

Departure from Agadir:
Your journey begins at 9:30 or 10:00 AM, heading north along the scenic coastal road toward Essaouira. The first stop is the charming village of Taghazout—a laid-back fishing and surfing hub. Enjoy a guided walk through the village and along the beach before continuing along the coast. Several scenic stops are included along the way for photos and relaxation whenever stunning landscapes appear.

Day 2 :

Imi Ouaddar Fishing Village:

Discover the small yet vibrant fishing village of Imi Ouaddar. Visit the local fish market, where the catch of the day is sold, and take a relaxing break while capturing photos of the authentic local life.

Day 3 :

Cap Ghir Viewpoint

Visit the internationally renowned surf spot of Cap Ghir. This cliffside viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramas of the Atlantic waves, the surrounding mountains, and the old Cap Ghir lighthouse.

Day 4 :

Estuary of Oued Tamri

A picturesque stop at a serene freshwater lagoon that serves as an important resting place for migratory birds. Known also as a great local surf spot, it’s a beautiful place for photos and to stretch your legs.

Day 5 :

Tamri – The Banana Village

Arrive in Tamri, famous for its banana plantations and rural weekly market every Monday. Enjoy a short walk through the village to soak in the authentic atmosphere.

Day 6 :

Golden Sand Dunes by the Atlantic

Just 10 km beyond Tamri, reach the magical sand dunes along the Atlantic coast. A short off-road trail leads you to this hidden gem. Take a leisurely walk on the soft golden sands and admire the dramatic cliffs—home to the rare and protected Bald Ibis, the last known wild colony in the world!

Day 7 :

Lunch with a Local Berber Family

Continue into the foothills toward a traditional Berber village. Here, you'll be welcomed into a local home for an authentic lunch experience. Savor your choice of tagine or couscous—prepared with chicken, beef, or goat—served with warm hospitality in a peaceful village setting.

Day 8 :

Agadir Imoucha Sinkholes

After tea and a short rest, the adventure continues to the impressive natural sinkholes of Agadir Imoucha, reached by a mountain trail. From the heights of the Atlantic Atlas, enjoy unforgettable views across the landscape.

Return to Agadir
