Embark on our thrilling 4×4 adventure through the heart of Southern Morocco, culminating amid the awe-inspiring Chegaga dunes. This tour offers not only a journey across magnificent desert landscapes but also a close encounter with historic treasures along the route.

One of the highlights is Aït Benhaddou—a traditional caravan stop that once linked Marrakech to the vast Sahara. Constructed in the 17th century, this striking example of Southern Moroccan architecture originally served as a communal granary on a hilltop. Characteristic of pre-Saharan habitats, Aït Benhaddou comprises earthen homes enclosed by fortified walls and reinforced with defensive towers (ksar), all intricately adorned with Berber and Saharan motifs.

Day 01 :

Agadir – Ouarzazate (380 km)

Morning:

Depart Agadir at 9:00 AM.
Visit Taroudant to explore its charming medina, bustling souks, ancient ramparts, and the historic Palais Salam.

Afternoon:

Enjoy lunch amid the picturesque Tiout palm grove.
Continue on to the ksar of Ait Benhaddou—a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987—and tour this iconic structure.

Evening:

Return to Ouarzazate for an overnight stay.

Day 02 :

Ouarzazate – Tinghir (250 km)

Morning:

Begin the day at 9:00 AM with a visit to Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate.
Travel along the route through Skoura toward El Kalaa M’Gouna (the Valley of the Roses) and visit Kasbah Amridil, followed by a scenic drive through the Dadès Valley—known as the "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs."

Afternoon:

Arrive in Boumaln Dadès and tour the dramatic Dadès Gorges (with a lunch break en route).
Head back to Tinghir by the afternoon.

Evening:

Overnight in Tinghir.

Day 03 :

Tinghir – Zagora (320 km)

Morning:

Depart from Tinghir at 8:00 AM and visit the spectacular Todra Gorges.
Continue towards Alnif and enjoy a lunch stop.

Afternoon:

Descend to Tansikhte, a pivotal crossroads in the remarkable Draa Valley—the world's largest palm grove.
Spend the rest of the afternoon traversing this magnificent valley, covering over 100 km of scenic terrain.

Evening:

Overnight in Zagora.

Day 04 :

Zagora – M’Hamid – Chegaga (150 km)

Morning:

Leave Zagora at 9:00 AM, heading south.
Stop in the village of Tamegroute to visit a local green pottery workshop, the underground kasbah, and a traditional Quranic library.

Afternoon:

Proceed to the Tinfou dunes for a photo stop before arriving at M’Hamid El Ghizlane—the last small village before the Algerian border—where lunch is served.

Later Afternoon:

Follow a rugged 60 km track by 4×4 to reach a bivouac situated in the heart of the golden Chegaga dunes, where you’ll have the chance to witness both a breathtaking sunset and sunrise over one of Morocco’s most beautiful dunes.

Evening:

Overnight at the desert bivouac.

Day 05 :

Chegaga – Zagora – Agadir (600 km)

Early Morning:

Rise early to enjoy the awe-inspiring sunrise, witnessing the vastness and serenity of the desert.
After breakfast in the serene desert setting, begin your return journey by 4×4.

Morning to Afternoon:

Travel from Chegaga back to Zagora, and then proceed to Agdz for a lunch stop.
Continue along the route until you finally return to Agadir.

Day 6 :
